1. Unpacking and Initial Inspection
Carefully unpack the dryer and check for any transportation damage. If damage is found, do not operate the appliance and contact your supplier.
2. Positioning the Dryer
Place the dryer on a flat, stable surface. Ensure it is not installed on deep pile carpet to prevent overheating. The dryer must be level to operate efficiently.
3. Electrical Connection
The dryer should be connected to a power supply by a qualified electrician. Ensure that the appliance is earthed to prevent electrical hazards.
4. Ventilation Requirements
Ensure that the area where the dryer is installed is well-ventilated. Avoid installing the dryer next to a fuel-burning stove unless a non-flammable heat insulation pad is used.
5. Drum Preparation
Before using the dryer for the first time, wipe the drum with a moist cloth to remove any residues left from the manufacturing process.
6. Condenser Installation
Ensure the condenser is properly installed before operating the dryer. The dryer should not be used without the condenser in place.
7. First Use Preparation
Load the dryer with well-spun laundry to optimize drying efficiency. Select the appropriate drying program using the program selector.
